Plain-English summary of what we collect, what we do not collect, and how anything you send is handled.
Summary
We run a static, content-only website with no analytics cookies, no advertising trackers, and no third-party scripts beyond Google Fonts. If you email us, we read what you send and reply to the address you used. That is the entire data flow.
What we do not collect
- No analytics cookies (no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Mixpanel).
- No advertising trackers or social-media pixels.
- No user accounts, no logins, no profiles.
- No location data beyond what your browser sends in standard server logs.
What our server logs contain
Standard nginx access logs record IP address, request path, response code, user agent and timestamp. Logs are rotated and retained for 30 days for operational purposes (rate-limiting, debugging, abuse). They are not shared with third parties and are not used for advertising or analytics.
If you email us
Anything you send to [email protected] — including scans, quotes, or medical history — is read by the editorial team for the purpose of writing you a reply. We do not pass it to clinics, sell it, or use it for marketing.
You can request deletion of your correspondence at any time by replying with the words "Please delete my correspondence." Confirmation will follow within seven working days.
Third parties
- Google Fonts — used to load Inter, Inter Tight, Source Serif 4 and JetBrains Mono. Google may log requests for font files; we do not control that.
- Cloudflare — fronts this site for HTTPS and performance. Cloudflare retains standard CDN logs per its own privacy policy.
